Ina Bieler is a Tibetan translator from Austria. She has been working as the personal translator for H.E. Garchen Rinpoche since 2006. Since 2011, she has also been translating for 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha. She holds a B.Sc. in Political Science from the London School of Economics.
Following Garchen Rinpoche’s advice, she studied Tibetan at the Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo Translator Programme in Dharamsala from 2003-2005. In 2006, she moved to the United States to serve as Rinpoche’s translator at the Garchen Buddhist Institute in Arizona and for his teachings worldwide and has continually worked for him and the GBI as an oral and written translator ever since.
